Meet the Baker
Your licensed bakery in Lafayette Hill, PA
Hi, I’m Dominique “Nika” Spencer, mom of two and founder of A Whisk Worth Tasting LLC. Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved baking and spreading joy through baked goods. After baking countless goodies for office functions in my previous jobs, I decided to leave my 9-5 and worked in a popular DC bakery as the morning baker. With 10-hour shifts beginning at 4:30am, I quickly acquired many professional tricks-of-the-trade that have improved my creativity and efficiency in the kitchen.
After making my daughter’s first birthday cakes, I became totally obsessed with cake decorating. I couldn’t sleep because I would be up late planning my next cake! I began my own my own small business providing custom cakes, cupcakes, and confections to clients across Montgomery County, PA and the greater Philadelphia area in 2020. Today, I am proud to serve the same families year after year, and I now teach hundreds of students how to decorate their own cakes and cupcakes through local workshops!
